HOUSTON, TX — Ready to take your love for football from the stands to the turf? Registration is officially open for the Cris Dishman Ladies Football Clinic, an exciting, interactive non-contact session held this July at the historic Durley Stadium on the campus of Texas Southern University.

Led by 2-time NFL Pro-Bowler and current TSU Head Coach Cris Dishman, this clinic is designed specifically for women who want to learn the fundamentals of football, get active, and participate in hands-on drills. Coach Dishman and his welcoming staff are opening up the playbook to show participants how the game works from the inside out, making it the perfect Sunday afternoon of fitness, football education, and fun.

What to Expect

This is an active, instructional experience tailored for all skill and fitness levels—no prior football experience required! Coach Dishman has designed an engaging afternoon focused on:

• Football 101 & Skill Basics: Learn the proper techniques for throwing a perfect spiral, catching with confidence, and running crisp routes.

• Active Drills & Agility: Get moving with real football footwork, speed, and conditioning drills designed to challenge you and keep things high-energy.

• Game IQ & Strategy: Break down basic offensive and defensive strategies so you can watch, talk, and understand the game like an insider.
